Description
Connecticut’s rivers flow into the Long Island Sound. The state’s largest river is the Connecticut River, which flows through towns such as Hartford, Middletown, and Portland, before meeting the Sound at Old Saybrook. The aptly-named Bridgeport is home to a number of bridges, which cross the Pequonnock River, Yellow Mill Pond, and Cedar Creek.
